That works OK. The highlights are kept just below the over exposure point.

If mine Jean, I'd give this a smidge of rotation (cw) and possibly some perspective correction too.
However, I do like the picture.

Did you use a light source when shooting or was it just ambient light ?

No Binnur, just ambient light.... with a lot of contrast, but LR CC helps to make miracles

My first impression was that this must have been done through HDR. Good for you (and Photoshop etc) to do it in one shot.
