Thank you for asking me, that' s very kind of you! My family and I are ok, but I heard terrible stories from friends of mine who have lost their relatives there, some of them were babies. Cities as Amatrice and Accumoli are completely devasted.

It's such a terrible shame, and has happened quite frequently in such a beautiful area of the world. That area is one of my favourite parts of Italy and the towns and villages are so remote. Terrible timing, too, just towards the end of your holiday month.

Yes, the last earthquake was on 2009 in Aquila. I heard of a woman who survived at the earthquake of the 2009 but she lost her daughter of 18 months last night in Arquata del Tronto. Moreover, there was another tremor few hours ago, but this one was 4 magnitude. However, rescue workers and volunteers are doing their best. Originally Posted by dubaiphil
