    Fireball

Got to the Lakeshore 1 minute after the sun rose above the horizon. ( I know, Izzie, I should get there before sunrise!). Anyway the sun was a spectacular blood- red globe and we parked and got out of the car as quickly as possible. In the time it took to get close to the shore it had lost some of its colour, but still it was still quite special.

    Very nice,
    scene always attractive
you could take it at ISO 100 to reduce noise (not visible here)

Lovely sunrise image Joe I would crop about half of the space between the bird and the top frame for a more energetic composition.

Looking good. I can see the argument for a crop from the top with, I suppose, a balancing amount from the sides. But I would want to see them side by side before making a final decision on which was best.

A very special scene. Considering the amount of bird photography you do, it's especially nice that the bird adds so much to the image.

    Re: Fireball

So, you will get there before sunrise tomorrow? Very nice, Joe. In addition to Binnur's suggested crop, I think you could also take a similar amount from the bottom.
