    Simplicity - conifer scales

An exercise in technique using one of nature's example of perfection. Thoughts welcome.

Simon, I like the first most, love the texture and control of the tones.

Very creative! The first one has almost a "polished wood" appearance. Great work.

One more - it's a composite, but this works well as an image in its own right I feel as opposed to a technical exercise.

All nice images Simon IMO #2 would look nicer if it was cropped from the LHS to make a vertical frame.

I like #2. It has a rustic look that I find appealing. The empty LHS works well to my mind.
    Cheers Ole
