Image #1 is sensational; setting sun at full glow, you have captured the true essence of that moment. Wonderful silhouettes. Well done Jean.

Manfred, correct me if I am wrong. I think that a 133 second exposure is less impacted by slight movement than a 10 second exposure might be...
Jean, I am so pleased I didn't miss this set of images & I look forward to seeing the rest!
They are all so different & appealing for different reasons, the sunset image #1 & the Manhattan bridge would look tremendous printed on metallic paper.
I am about to head to New York for the first time ever in a few weeks time, I am very excited, your images are stunning.
Lovely colors in Manhattan Bridge shot Jean
Bravo, Jean!
All very nice Jean How did you shoot #5 from such a low angle , wasn't it a bit risky ? Also I can't notice any lens distortion. May I ask the focal length for that shot? Very nice B&W conversions. The last one shows that you have a great eye and you spent most of your time on streets to catch such moments
Bravo again!
Thank you Binnur
I lowered my camera at ground level just above the water in the gutter.
Risky? not I'm crouched on the sidewalk
I took it at 24 mm 1/100s f/4.5 with my Nikon 24-120 mm on my D 800 E, the strap wrapped around my wrist.
AS already said, I came in NY with a group of photographers for 10 days, with a professional photographer as leader, 14 km walk/subway per day,my feet remember!!! even a trip in helicopter.
the reward to use very good lensesAlso I can't notice any lens distortion.
Excellent new additions
Thank you Nandakumar.
Thank you for the beautiful shots. Even more proof that NYC is a great place to visit but it is hard living there.
I took this picture at Dumbo, you should leave Manhattan by foot on Brooklyn bridge (not an obligation, but so nice as walk and scenes), at the end of the bridge you go down on the right. An tip: be there long time before sunset, as so many people go there, if you want to be at the first rank of tripods near the water
I took the subway until Brookling bridge City-hall .
To have another way to get all lower Manhattan Skyline is to take a return ticket to Staten Island, you will have twice the time to shoot lower Manhattan for few $
Thank you Jean!
My humble efforts from the same area, may not be worth sharing, but a nice walk will be good nonetheless
I must remind myself to experience the place, not just taking pictures.
We look forward to more of your wonderful series.
