Really like #1. Even head-on the Spitfire has an austere beauty. The five bladed prop and twin cannons denote a later Mk. The sign under it should probably say 'death' not 'life'.

The green light showing in image 3 is L.E.D. lights inside some of the heads.
The Spitfire is a later model, below is a quote from the museums website.
Spitfire LA198 is a Mark 21 Spitfire built in 1944 with a Rolls Royce Griffon 61 engine and a five blade propeller. It flew with the 602 (City of Glasgow) Squadron between 1947-1949.
