    Kelvingrove museum

A set of images from a recent visit to Glasgow's Kelvingrove museum.
    Well worth a visit.
Images 1 and 2 are of a Spitfire, 3 and 4 is an art installation.
Image 1 seems a bit dull. It was shot at ISO 500, f10, 1/13s and no internal or external flash.
With image 4 I turned into B&W and removed the wires in photoshop.
    All C&C welcomed
    Gary

Excellent shots; the faces look far better in black and white; the green light from bottom spoils the color image

Really like #1. Even head-on the Spitfire has an austere beauty. The five bladed prop and twin cannons denote a later Mk. The sign under it should probably say 'death' not 'life'.

The green light showing in image 3 is L.E.D. lights inside some of the heads.

The Spitfire is a later model, below is a quote from the museums website.
Spitfire LA198 is a Mark 21 Spitfire built in 1944 with a Rolls Royce Griffon 61 engine and a five blade propeller. It flew with the 602 (City of Glasgow) Squadron between 1947-1949.
