    Here's how it works ...

    - You good folks post images in the thread (please change your post title to a name for your picture)

    - When we get 10 images we will attach a voting poll

    - After 3 days the poll closes and the winner is declared!

    - If you would especially like some critique after the competition poll closes, please make it known in the post

    Too easy eh?

Limit of 1 image per post, and 2 image posts per person.

If there are already 10 in the current comp, please start a new thread in this forum

    Cheers,

That's a bit freaky, Wendy. I like it. You should put it in the mono comp.

It is a brilliant image, and the fact he is smoking wouldn't affect me at all, and didn't. But is there another way to do the same thing. It is really good and I suspect very humid for completely different reasons I was trying to work out about the appearance of sky sometimes.

    Dear Rob

It's a car, is it an old car, why has it got shades, no paint, no rust. Yes well a more real example of your excellent work, and I think the distinction between photography and graphic art is a sense of reality.

Here we have a very fine light, attached to some surreal not even old thing but we can imagine what it was like, for real. Top work. Other

    Thanks for the comments Steve

The car is a mock-up of 'Dracula's Hearse' and is used as a film prop. I shot it at a car show where it was on display. The shot is a three exposure hdr, which I thought added to the textural feel of it.

There are some fine shots in this comp. I like Soldier of Fortune.

    Thanks for the comment arith

I let him smoke like a soldier after a battle , and because at that moment I didn't find any other actions for him, steady man sitting beside the jeep and looking back on defeated enemy will need a cigarette (juts for relax)

And his skin is a bit red is a result of my HDR processing on 1 JPG image . I'll re-balance the color of skin on the next HDR image

    Wendy

Are you sure you are the same person who was posting 6 months ago. For me this, and a quite a few of your latest posts are a step change in creative direction. There is a lot of feeling being introduced into your images. I guess anyone can eventually become a technically competent 'photographer' in time but there is definitely something more than that here. I am watching closely (actually that sounds creepy but you get my drift)

Thanks Steve, I'm trying desperately to catch up to you guys. You are all a very good influence - glad it's starting to show.

Thanks for the encouragement. I appreciate all feedback, positive and negative.
