I'm liking the PP work that you apparently accomplished.

    William,

Thanks for commenting, yes I thought about different ways of processing and settled on a pseudo hdr effect.

Interesting shot John. The PP work looks rather "overcooked" to me. I'm pretty sure that the original was a great shot too.

Great capture, John. Wonderful color hues in the performer's mask.

I agree on both counts. A great shot, and creative. I don't normally like the effect of part B&W and part color (I forget the name of this), but in this case, I think it works well. However, I do agree with Manfred. I tried a simple reduction of saturation, and to my eye, it looked better that way. Also, there are a couple of small spots of color remaining the background, which you may not have intended--by his left foot, and between his legs.

Interesting shot John, I like it I can see some blues next to his left foot which need fixing.

Very creative! The way you have brought out the texture in everything is just amazing.

When I look at an image like this that is post-processed in a style I would probably never use, I dismiss whatever preferences I would have and instead evaluate it in the context of what I think the person who made the image was trying to accomplish. It's in that context that this one scores very high marks.

I think the color image is better John as her mask is more visible
