...you mean AFTER stressing that I'd broken something?
oh okay well then I cleaned up the detritus from our fashionista having 19 others just like her over last night to celebrate that they are now all 18 & are allowed to drink
Lovely series to share with us - #2 and #4 are my favourites this time
Models like that could almost make me go back into portraiture, after 52 years.
Pops
Were we down?
I'm kidding Love #3, Colin.
Nice portraits (as usual )
I think I like #4 best.
But, you better be careful, Colin, or all parents in the neighbourhood will send their kids to play with yours (after checking you are in).
Remco
Nice serie, I prefer#3 and 4
Fixed the central heating and watched the Bourne Ultimatum on TV tuner and wondered why CiC wasn't here.
But it's OK, I blamed my son because he said, and I quote; "Come and fix the central heating, the forums will still be there later" and they weren't!!!!
LOL - waaaaay too late for that!
When I did my "Death by Roses" shot I printed it on a canvas and gave it to the mum as a surprise. The surprise was on me though when she said she'd already seen it! I thought "how the heck can she have already seen it - I only did it a couple of hours ago" - up I'd already up-loaded it to the website, and Mum had been online waiting ... !
I slipped in to a state of gloom and despondency. Kicked the cat, shouted at the kids then tried to pat my head and rub my tummy. After 2 minutes amusement with that I thought it best to do something useful.....how many Malteasers can you get in your mouth without crunching eh? After being reprimanded for stealing the kids sweets I went into the street and kicked a tin can about and had an irresistible urge to buy a bottle of cheap cider and kick the bus shelter in. Then it came to me..holy orders! No that would never work..nuns are wearing there skirts a tad long this year. But there is life after CiC so I fired up the old Mac went to POTN and had a damn good laugh at people agonising over why they can't be good togs without a 70-200mm f/2.8. Am I a bad person?
Steve
Colin, I think your last shot of Skylah is a cracker
while we were down...
Edited and printed photos, watched a terrible movie (You Don't Mess With the Zohan), prepared my equipment for another day.
Very well Colin. Very well...
That could be a bad habit for you to get into (get it? get it?)
I do that occasionally on my old stomping ground ... same people still complaining about the same things and still giving poor advice. Can't say I miss it one little bit.But there is life after CiC so I fired up the old Mac went to POTN and had a damn good laugh at people agonising over why they can't be good togs without a 70-200mm f/2.8.
Thanks Steve,Colin, I think your last shot of Skylah is a cracker
I was lucky to get 4 keepers out of it as they were quite shy. It was as much a test of my pocket wizards to be honest ... I've had some REALLY weird issues with them; some of which was my fault, and some I really don't understand (like the TT1 firing slaves at random whilst the shutter was open for a multi-minute exposure, even after the TT1 was switched off!).
