Nice images, Joe. I like the composition of the 2nd. It seems more serene than the first; possibly because the two figures seem relaxed. In any case, they give a sense of scale.

    Re: Sunset

I prefer the second image with composition and colors Joe The yellows have some green tones which I don't like in the first image. I think it can be fixed easily in PP

I am another supporter of the second photograph. It looks over sharpened or the clarity used too vigorously but it is a great shot.

The second photo is a much better one Joe. It is much better composed - it has foreground, middle ground and a background with contrasting colors

#2 I prefer Joe. Sensational sunset-you have captured the true essence of that moment. Wonderful silhouettes. Warm regards.

    Re: Sunset

I also prefer the second one. What about darken the picture so that the persons on the left can be only seen as silhouettes?

Nice, the second one for me. The first is a bit too smooth with the waters.

I am never sure which gives a better image and have leaned toward lightening the shadow areas instead of leaving as a silhouette. Here they are slightly darker and more in shadow/silhouette.
