    Re: Harley Davidson

    I quite like this Jean,

I hope Carol (Minerva) sees this as I think this method of dealing with the background may be preferable to the alternative we've seen in a couple of her shots (e.g. of just making it all solid black).

In respect of this, I am wondering, since the subject's styling doesn't say 'sepia' to me, is whether an alternative toning might work nicely; e.g. based on whatever colour the panniers were? (I am imagining maroon for some reason)

    Thanks, Dave

Jean, you have a unique way that I like very much. Keep on experimenting but also remember 'the balance.' Just my opinion.
    Cheers Ole

I agree with Dave about changing to the tone from sepia to something else

You prefer colors, no problem, you have choices
    Which one do you prefer?
    # 1 neutral

    Harley Davidson

    # 2 black

    Harley Davidson

    # 3 light blue

    Harley Davidson

    # 4 blue

    Harley Davidson

    #5 dark blue

    Harley Davidson

Of course, it's not reworked, just playing with cursors in PS CC

I think #3 and #4 do not work so well because they lack of contrast. The others are cool. My favorite is #2.
