SA Japan 2016

The Japanese culture and Anime festival for 2016 was held here in San Antonio over the Labor Day weekend. Folks were dressed up not only as their favorite Anime character but every other imaginable character. I was able to attend two days and it was really great fun. The following are just some of the photos I took during those two days.

This young lady was stunning. I believe she was Azura from the Fire Emblem Fates video game.

Another stunner. I actually encountered this young woman downtown. She kindly agreed to let me take her photo.

It was a challenge trying to find a non-distracting background when you have literally thousands of people milling about everywhere. It was a fun and joyful event but I did see some photographers irritating some of the attendees by detaining them and forcing them to move or pose in certain places. I considered it a privilege to be able to take their photo, so I made the best of wherever they posed for me. As for the labels, no need to remove them. These are just memories of a fun event.
