    I find the images so interesting and proficiently taken that I am happy with them as they are. However slightly brightening the person in #1 and reducing the brightness of the most right hand sculpture in the second photograph may be beneficial.

    These are almost two different genres;
    the first is an object lesson in observation, how you have, by good timing or asking him to sit there, achieved a 'transition of poses' from the Ganeshi on the left to the man on the right, is intriguing.
    the second is a straightforward capture of the artist at work.

    Like Paul, it seems almost rude to suggest improvements, but I suspect (unless unbelievably lucky with lighting) you have dodged and burned to achieve these results. Therefore, his critique is relevant and I agree with what he suggests.

    Thanks for sharing, Dave

    Nicely composed and exposed, the Ganesh's are beautifully lit.

    Thank you Dave for noticing the details.

    Most of my photographs are not posed. Rather, I get conscious if somebody is posing for me. The 1st one (trio with similar hand action) is also a candid shot. The artist was making idol and all three were having similar hand action, that made me to capture the shot. Thanks for noticing that .

    In both pictures light is of tube light (white light). In 1st shot it was placed exactly on the head of Ganesh idol and the man was little dark as less light was reaching there. I have tried to open little more shadow. But it is showing grain, therefore i didnt open it much.

    In 2nd pic, the tube light was placed exactly in the center and the idols were getting almost equal light. Though the idols in front were close to me, may be are more highlighted. (which as suggested, brightness could be reduced )

    The whole area was quite dark and quite congested. I think in most of my pictures ISO has gone upto 3200 (the max limit i have fixed in my camera). It was bit difficult to photograph there.

    Thanks once again for your feedback .

    I really like both of these images and noticed the duplication of poses between the idol and the artist in #1 and the idols forming leading lines to the artist in #2.

    While they are both just fine as is, I think that Paul's suggestions regarding #1 above are relevant.

    How's this. I used NIK Viveza and put control points on the idol and the artist, reducing the idol brightness a bit and increasing the brightness of the artist.

    Making of Ganesha - C&C are welcome !!

    I might also consider selectively applying noise reduction to the artist area.

    I think that a bit of moise reduction (I used NIK Dfine globally) can clean up the noise around the artist...

    I'll leave the camera technical details to others, but I am commenting on the compositional elements of image 8132. There is a beautiful line flowing from high left to low right through the hands; even the elephant trunk points alone the line. The line moves from light to dark into the supplication of the mouselike creature into silent reflection of the worshiper's hands. Totally cool!
