I understand the idea, but I would suggest to move a little bit on the left to get all poles (and not on the right to avoid crossing of horizontal and vertical lines).
Are you using LR (or PS)? If yes you can easily switch on (artificially) each pole by adding a small amount of yellow light with a brush.

A good idea but it isn't really working for me, Maurice. Too much of a gap between the first and second lamp so it isn't really obvious what we are seeing, apart from your description.

I wonder what would have happened if you had moved slightly sideways so the actual lamp posts were just visible but clearly separated from each other so a real sense of perspective was created? As Jean mentioned.
