These are all the winners for the monochrome mini comps. I have also put the latest winners in a new album under a new user called 'ALBUM'. I'll add new winners and drop off the oldest ones as things progress. To view the album it looks best with full-screen (F11) set. The images have the title, name of photographer, and comp number. Tied winners are listed where there is a tie. I have included all tied winning shots in the album.

It's the taking part that counts, not the winning. It should spur you on Steve to do more. Actually, the standard is getting very good, and I'm finding it tough - you are all improving so much.

Taking part doesn't count, and I don't change or get spurred on by competitions if it means I have to sing the same hymns. Anyway in the whole scheme of things it doesn't really matter; you just have to understand there isn't equal first just a bunch of losers, and the only thing that counts is winning, on your own terms of course.

By the way, I'm not salt of the earth either.

We won't forget you Rob...promise. Only joking. This is a good idea the standard is becoming so good that it is nice to see them all in one place. It also makes it easier to see the qualities the people who vote look for in a monochrome image

It is. And, for a relatively small crowd, there is some serious talent here.
I feel pretty lucky to have eeked out a win. It is nice to just put you stuff out there and see what people think. I always feel good about getting a couple of votes.

The forum members who have contributed to each mini competition, you have all submitted outstanding work. Each has his/her own view on the world and it comes out in their work.

I, too, am honored to a few of my submissions as winners. This forum helps to keep me to contiunally searching for new inspiration for my photography and to keep improving my techniques, although it does not necessarily change my view of the world.

To everyone, keep up the great work.
