I came upon this bottled water stored in blue glass (not plastic!) during my recent trip to Provence. Considering that I had never seen this brand, shape or bottle color, I returned home to America with it so I could photograph it.
Setup
The tabletop is clear glass covered by art paper that is blue, textured and translucent. The background is white translucent acrylic positioned to fill the frame no more and no less. The ice cubes are handmade acrylic. First capture: A small continuous-light lamp lights the tabletop from underneath. A speedlight fixed with a blue gel is behind the background, positioned near the bottom and tilted upward to create the dark vignette in the bottom of the background and the slight vignette in the top. The opaque, curly figures in the tabletop art paper are a shiny, perhaps metallic material that reflect the blue color in the background; if they weren't reflective, they would be black because they are opaque. Second capture: A handheld flashlight lights the label on the bottle. The label from the second capture was merged with everything else in the first capture.
