I like that Brian, initially I wondered about the composition, but when I considered it, it actually works very well - lots of leading lines to the subject bloom and the other is toned down enough not to compete. Well done ....

The only thing I'd change (if mine) would be to clone out (or tone down) that little blip of bright foliage peeping out behind the leaf towards the right hand side at the top edge of frame.

if that goes then yhe white spot to the right is history too. You're right the composition is unusual but it works.

We do have a plant that matures in the dandelion style but this one the flowers darken and drop off.
