How fast does a bee's wing flap
I was in the process of framing up the two white flowers in the image. During the process of framing the image, this bee came into view and I manage to get one shot off manually and not knowing what the aperture was set at.
The outcome is the image below, exposure turned out to be f2.8 and 1/2000 sec.
It appears the bee is perfectly still but there is movement in the wing even at 1/2000 sec.

230 cycles/sec or there abouts... Interesting photo - good and sharp.

Nice shot, of my rare bee shots I don't think I've ever captured the wings such as this.
