    I've always wanted to go there and your photo reminds me why. Wonderful exposure and handling of the shadow tones in difficult light.

    Consider making a panoramic style: Crop on the left to exclude the wall and vines that are almost parallel to the frame. Crop on the top just above the top of the tree. Crop on the bottom to exclude only the rail in the bottom right corner. Doing so will maintain plenty of the nice clouds and reflections of the trees and buildings while excluding the other elements that are distracting for me.

    A nice scene well captured.

    A word to potential visitors. The city is in the Flemish speaking region of the country. Best to call it Brugge, with a hard "g". I found that the people would rather speak English than French!
