Not much slant - even less engine

Bit of a tease Alan, anyone interested is going to want to see more shots.

However, I appreciate the cramped and cluttered location doesn't help, even touching it is going to disturb the dust layer.

Is this yours, or a friend's, pet project?

    Cheers, Dave

    Thanks for looking guys.
First I want to say that I was amazed this photo turned out as well as it did. Shot it handheld, 1/10th sec, no flash. My new old camera is doing its job.
This car has been in this garage for as long as we've been in our house, which is 31 years.
It's a 1931 Model A Slant Windshield 4-dr Sedan. True, there's not much slant, but it's not as straight up 'n down as the previous models were. It belongs to a neighbor of ours and will be departing soon as I believe the house is going to be sold and/or rented out.
    Here's another shot of it.

My dad had to leave a Model B back east when we moved to California. We always kidded him about that. It had mechanical brakes on it and Mom didn't trust them to get us across the country safely I guess. He gave it away. My brother and I are car guys and we couldn't believe he gave a '32 Ford away. We'd both love to have that car today. Dad had put a '48 Merc flathead V-8 in it.
    Oh what could have been...
