    Great color and exposure. The composition would work far better for me if you cropped on the right side and bottom very close to the rope's shadow.

    Hi John,

    I'd take the cropping a stage further and remove the left hand side to the point where the top chrome handrail goes in to a new top left corner.

    This removes all the text (arguably a distraction), but maintains the 'leading lines' running down to the jetty/wharf and ropes that your current composition has.

    A few different crops and one additional edit by applying a preset GD filter. It's good to have so much real estate to work with.

    Pictures 4 and 5 (in thread) are the same image John (hover over and check link url), probably a copy/paste error after upload of the "preset GD filter" (intended 5th?) one.
