For me, Maurice, you should eliminate 1/4 of the top to get a panoramic view, the focus is perfect, the light too.
I agree with some form of cropping to remove a bit of the large out of focus area at the top. Several options would work.
The trouble with bird photography is that unless you can get really close, or use a massive lens, there will always be a lot of cropping.
The actual main subjects are good.

At what focal length was the original capture and how much was cropped? I'm wondering if scaling up, especially if you have Elements/Photoshop might be better than cropping.
I like the colour sheme in this image and a forced close up (crop) is needed
