    The view behind me

I was out shooting the fall crop. Or actually not shooting as the light was poor, the sun refused to come out from behind the clouds and the one opening did not coincide with the position of the sun.

However looking west rather than east was a bit more productive, so I changed my intent. My life seems ruled by serendipity; I rarely seem to come home with the pictures I originally intended. Not that I really care; the journey interests me more than the destination.

That is a rather level landscape but you have managed to create a good sense of distance to the scene.

This is the bit with some terrain features (the hill to the right) Looking east it is flat for 50 km.

Good sense of the land and power of the sky on the prairie. Having traveled across "the BC", it can be flat enough to see the curvature of the earth sometimes.

Beautiful image Trevor Although I like the image as is , I just wonder if brightening the fall crop just a little bit would give a better look or not

Tried that, much lighter and it starts to go weird and noisy with strange bleached colour. Elected to stop at this point.
