Hi,
My name is Anthony. Born in Dublin, Ireland, I now live in Pathhead, near Edinburgh, recently retired after working as a management consultant in India and the Middle East.
I'm hoping to make photography (Still Life, Landscape, Lightroom) my main interest. I have so far collected the following equipment to make the most of my pursuit;
- Camera: Canon 10D (Like me, retired) Plus Canon 7D and 60D.
- Lens: EF-S 10-22, 17-55, 55-250, 24. EF 40.
All in need of more frequent use!
Best regards
Anthony

Re: New Member
Welcome to the CiC forums from me too Anthony,
I usually like to ask a question of new members, but your intro post has such a good job you are making me think hard, all the usual ones I might ask have already been answered
Ah, I know;
When shooting still life, is that artificially lit, or natural light?
Perhaps start another thread and show us some examples of one of the genres?
In one of these forums;
People & Pets (for those things) OR
Nature & Architecture (for anything else)
You may find this thread helpful:

plus you may find the first post in this thread useful:

I hope you won't have any initial difficulty posting images, although many do (myself included when I joined), so if you hit a problem, ask here, or PM (Private Message) me.
All the best, Dave
