    Erik, if you are using LR as your RAW converter, open the detail tool panel and set the sharpening slider to zero. LR defaults to a sharpening setting of 25. It is possible to change the default settings but they are associated with a given camera body. That is done via the Develop menu.

    I think this is your answer Erik. It looks like you have really pushed a number of levels here. A sure way to exacerbate a noise problem.
