From Hertfordshire

HI, little intro, I am Andy Sears from Graveley, Nr Hitchin in Hertfordshire, approx 15 miles form Cambridge. My main area is garden photography / macro.

Currently using Nikon D5300, Sigma 105mm macro, Nikon 50mm, and Nikon 70-200mm. The Sigma 105mm seems to be my most widely used, although a heavy lens compared to my old kit lens, slowly got used to hand holding. The 50mm 1.8 I still love when out and about shooting general stuff.

Started out many years ago using Olympus gear and after a 10 year break from photography, go back into it a couple of years back after purchasing a Nikon D3200 with 18 - 55 kit.

While mainly in the garden which has been given over to my photography, even growing my own flowers and plants for photo purpose. Lately been getting into some black and white, converting some of the colour images.

Hi Andy,

Decent gear you have, as you didn't mention skill perhaps explaining your choice of lenses would reveal more about you, which was purchased first, did you ever use kit lens, and how comfortable are you with your current arsenal. A few images would be welcome also. And welcome to the forum.
