The One that Got Away
We get a lot of mice hereabouts and the doors on my outhouse are no impediment to a sharp set of teeth. So yesterday I put down a piece of glued cardboard - very good for catching them as they nose around the edge of the floor. Had to admire today's sight when I opened a door to check:
Reminds me of trapped animals chewing off limbs to get away . .

Looks like you got some clever mice. You need to do better.

Interesting method of catching them. It never would have occurred to me. The area we moved to is wooded and there are a lot of mice around. With winter coming we're anticipating an assault on the house. This looks like a simple means of catching the little rascals. Assuming it will work better than this

First time it's failed me, Gents!
I like the method because, unlike poisoned bait, they don't crawl off somewhere inaccessible to die and stink for a few weeks.
