Shot at Redcliff, Newfoundland. Not a booming community...

Nicely seen and captured. Reminds me of a similar shot I did this summer. Something about the location, plus the overcast sky and what it does to primary colors that struck me to capture and process. This was shot in a local nature preserve, seemed so out of place amongst the reeds.

Nice shot. Hope no one waiting for a fill. You have a good eye for composition.

Not much survives those salted winds. I wonder if there is still some fuel somewhere in an underground tank?

Love these types of places. What was the price per gallon?

Good capture. A very evocative image. I do have a couple of suggestions. I'd trim a little from the top, to the point where the gas pump reaches about 2/3 of the way to the top. I'd also consider boosting the midtones a bit for more contrast and to bring out detail. I did both, but I don't know whether you permit posting edits, so I won't add it here.

Please go ahead. It's the best way to show what you mean.

OK. Here 'tis. Just a very quick edit, but enough that you can see whether you agree with the ideas.

Very moody shot. I would like to crop a little from the right, though. Back to about the fence but including where the pump hose enters the graa. I don't think the two bits of island add anything to the composition.
