A slightly different rock shot
I'm not sure about this one either, but I think it has a bit more to it. The geometry is so cool, just need to find a presentation.

Re: A slightly different rock shot
Thanks John,
Here's another rock shot. Maybe I ought to throw on the 11 - 18mm tempered with a 1.6 crop factor and see what a change in angle of view will do. Next time.

Re: A slightly different rock shot
On the first Jim, I would crop the bottom off such that the first crack/course goes in to the lower left corner.
I'd also give Clarity and/or Contrast a bit more of a boost.
Definitely one to be viewed at 100% in LyteBox, less than this harms it.
In #2, there's a bit of residual CA visible in some areas.
I'd also like to have seen a bit more at the bottom of frame.
Good exposure and white balance on both.
HTH, Dave

Re: A slightly different rock shot
I played around with them as suggested. Next time the 11-18mm comes out. I had it, but didn't use it.
