It might be grey but I do not see any sadness in the image. Just a couple enjoying one and others company. I have to say I like all your images. They make one think.

I like this shot and, as Maurice said, I do not see sadness in it.

Hmmm.... Two figures sitting on a deserted beach? Well, I think positioning the them so close to the edge of the frame makes them seem quite insignificant in comparison to the vastness of the sea and sky before. Added to that is the body language of the figure on the left - back bent forward, held tilted down - and I can see a certain sense of forlornness in the image.

Looks like he's reading, or texting. Like others, I don't see sadness, but I see a very nice shot of two people in their golden years sharing a secluded moment in time.

Well said, Greg. I don't know if that's exactly what Fernando intended, but I see it as you do.

Fernando, this image does not work all that well for me.

You are shooting is a style that seems to have become fashionable again in some quarters where we have the subject buried in a tiny corner of the image, and the rest of the shot is negative space that completely overwhelms the image. When I look at an image, I find that I need something that locks my attention and leads me through the image. Here my eyes hit the bottom left hand corner and fall right off the image. To me, that suggest the composition is not working as well as you might hope.
