Alyssa, an old image freshly processed

As I was clearing off some old smaller external hard drives. I found this image of Allysa in RAW. I thought that it would be worth processing. I used some NIK Dynamic skin softening and NIK Glamour glow... Here it is...

I wasn't sure about the crease lines at her throat and the darkness above her lip and tried to remedy that in this edit. I don't know if it worked. What do you think?

Maybe I should have left it alone. At least I have the first edit saved...

    Hi Richard,

I would concentrate on the eyes, the one in shadow has a glassy look and while I know having the closest eye relatively sharp is the goal; I think a bit of balance is needed with this very captivating image.

Nice shot, Richard. Is she still available for adoption?

It works for me. Love the light and angle.

    Thanks...

Single large softbox with studio flash from relatively high, image right (model's left) and a white reflector from model's right, just to give a tiny bit of definition to the ear and that side of the head.

    Canon 40D with 70-200mm f/4L IS lens at 70mm. ISO 200, 1/125 second @ f/16

I love the edit. I agree with John about the eyes. I'm sure you will be able to fix that. It will be a stunner.
    Cheers Ole

I love having old images which have been saved in RAW. I will often re-edit an image or, as in this case, edit an image that I have not previously worked on. Here's another of Alyssa that I recently worked on...
