    I think your expressions of affection toward the lens answer the question posed. It's sharp when you think it's sharp. Your opinion may vary with subject matter and shooting conditions. Everything is relative. IMO you picked a horrible shot to use as an example. As demonstrated by the previous questions regarding focus point etc.

    Wait is this a trick question , I would think that any lens can be sharp based on you focusing the subject using your knowledge and the capacity of the camera .
