I need Help/Advice on setting up PS CC
Finally given in and abandoned CS6 for Photoshop CC in order to accommodate a change of camera. However, Photoshop CC doesn't seem to be able to detect my monitors set resolution (recommended to be 1920x1200 ) with the result that both Bridge and PS as displayed are too large to fit on the screen and display with an overlarge font size. If I try and open a RAW file, PS CC tells me my monitor resolution needs to be adjusted above 1024x 768 which of course it already is. Happened initially when I first downloaded the software. A restart cured the problem and I set up all my preferences. Overnight, the problem has re-appeared and nothing I do now, resolves it. The same doesn't seem to apply to Light room (which I have never used). A work around would be to process my Raw files to TIFF in LR and then continue to use CS6 but having signed up for the CC package...............
System is:
4Ghz Quad Processor
32 GB of memory
W10
GeForce GT640 Graphics Card with 2GB of DDR3 / 1Ghz clock speed.
GPU use selected in PS
Any one have any knowledge that might lead to a solution. ADOBE Support are off line until Sunday evening and I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms.

A quick Google suggests updating your GPU driver - might be worth a punt.

Re: I need Help/Advice on setting up PS CC
I have also gravitated to Adobe CC and have purchased some books to help me...
The first is not one I would recommend: "Classroom in a Book"... The paper on which it is printed is cheap and the illustrations bleed. Sometimes bleeding through to the opposite side of the page
Second is pretty good but, not comprehensive: "Top 100 Simplified Tricks and Tips for Photoshop CC"
The one that I really like is: "Photoshop CC Essentials For Photographers" by Tony and Chelsea Northrup. I downloaded the Kindle version onto my Chromebook and really like this book along with the collection of videos that goes along with it. I think however, that I could find the videos on YouTube without buying the book. But for trn U.S. Dollars, the book is great and the links to the videos are in one place.

I've occasionally had problems with PS CC, I've gotten into the habit of contacting them via chat and
telling them to link with my computer and "fix the problem"...start here,

Thanks all for the replies. Panic over. Poking around (AKA trial and error), I discovered the solution. For future reference, all that is required is to go to Edit/Preferences/Interface in both Bridge and PS CC and under Text, change the User Interface Scaling from "Automatic" to 100%. That seems to do the trick.
