Nice shots!
I always enjoy watching the Meerkats at the San Diego Zoo. They always seem to be so busy doing whatever it is they do and they're so expressive in the looks they give.
I'm kind of surprised you got away with such slow shutter speeds. Most times they aren't holding still long enough for that.
lovely series of images. Hope you and your granddaughter enjoyed your day at the zoo.
Thanks Alan, I am surprised I got away with these shutter speeds, I can't stay still for that long (1/30sec)
Thanks John for looking and commenting.
Cheers Maurice, Always enjoy the time with my grandchildren.
Superb Graham
I love this little thing; how cute!!!
Very nice set
I have a few shots of them in the Melbourne Zoo (Australia) but I never really got to process them yet and that was still last March when we went over. They are so cute. And your shots of them here are cuties too. I think Graham just proved one can have them as pets?
Now THAT is too cool Graham.
Lovely set of images Gary. they have such attractive personalities and you seem to have captured that.
Definitely NO! Tikki is a rescue. You have to be dedicated 24/7 and they can't be locked away in a cage. You can read Tikki's story here: https://grahams-word.blogspot.co.uk/...live-with.html

They are not easy to live with and are not something that you would buy your kids for Xmas.
The first two are the classic meerkat shots with it standing so. But IMO the last shot is awesome for its perfect techs and nothing in the shot to suggest the locations. Nicely done.
Thanks for the links. I like reading blogs and sometimes I wish I have a good one. I will read them when the morning light comes...oh... sometime today..
Watch me! I've done raising children so it's payback time!!! hehehehehe.... I have one grandkid. She likes meerkats. I'll buy her one for Christmas. What a good idea!!!!They are not easy to live with and are not something that you would buy your kids for Xmas.
Thanks to all for your comments.
