Really neat capture. IMO, street photography should say something like this one does...
Great B&W image
Wonderful juxtaposition of an everyday activity and architecture
Well spotted. A good composition.
Good capture you were quick with that finger of your, well done.
Good capture, Sergio
Thanks, Richard. It's hard to always tell a story (for me at least), but sometimes opportunity just presents itself.
Thank you for saying so, Gary.
Thanks, Mike. It's amazing how ubiquitous the cell phone is and how we depend on it for many things.
Thank you for commenting, Vaez.
Thanks, Geoff. I saw him from down the street and kept thinking, "Please don't move".
Thanks, Maurice. I've been going by this alley for over a year hoping for the right happenstance. I wasn't even going to go by on this particular day.
Thanks for commenting, John.
Thank you for the comment, Greg.
Thank you, John, and you are correct, I did process to give the street name prominence.

Well seen, Sergio good story too...I wouldn't be caught hanging on that street but I know my eldest son will. He hacked my computer once and put a virus on it as an experiment. He heard from me.
I really want more detail in your figures shadows. I feel like he loses some of the impact of juxtaposition because the sign's clarity overpowers what he's doing. Nice capture of the moment.
Thank you, Izzie. After hearing from you, I doubt your son will try an experiment like that again.
Thanks for the comment, Chris. The processing was a deliberate choice. I felt the prominence of the sign and the man in partial silhouette created the mood and atmosphere that the street name represents.
