    The Taj Palace Hotel

Now completely restored, this iconic hotel was the epicenter of the terror attacks in Mumbai, India in November 2008 when armed terrorists stormed many known buildings and shot many innocent people. The General Manager of the Taj Karambir Singh Kang lost his wife and 2 kids during this attack and yet stayed back and made sure he and his team did everything they could to ensure the safety of the guests till the armed forces stormed the building and rescued them.

An interesting angle which gives depth and perspective. It works well and has perfect exposure.

Great capture Ashish and you have to spare a thought for the manager. The whole incident was sad but he must be devastated. Has he received any formal recognition.

Very sharp with lots of detail and colour. The clarity to die for.

Thanks John... indeed it was a sad event... He was facilitated both - by the Government of India and also received many private awards.
