    More European Brown Hares.

Still haven't got the shot that I wanted but I thought these might be worth posting. Comments very welcome.

The hares looks wet, John...very unusual to see you without inspiration...

I really like #1. Is it worth to hone in further on the Hare. I love the look on his'/her's face. Just a thought.
    Cheers Ole

Excellent; the pictures really tell that the ears work like antenna

    Thanks all for he comments.

Izzie, it's not inspiration that I need but a lot of luck. What I have in mind is a hare that is sat upright (as they do from time to time) and is rim lit from behind. That means finding one and one that is sat up between me and the sun, preferably a sunset. That a big ask on an opportunity basis but I can dream.

Nandakumar, they are fascinating in there behaviour. If they spot you and they always do even when you are quite far away, they immediately sink to the ground and one ear always goes up. Then they are off.

You have to be perfect to live in a perfect world where all to have to do is think a wish, a scenario and it will happen. You've got what you got now and therefore I can say, not perfect enough in posing, but better in many other ways. I kinda like the expressions of your cutie subject here and the camera connection.

What amazes me is that I was at least 50 -70 yds away when I took these and despite that they were aware enough to look right down the lens.

As you had said to Nandy ... their ears are their antenna...cute. I really like #1. It got that expression. I always thought they are the same as rabbits but apparently not.
