The first photo is of the Maryland State House, the oldest in America still being used for a state legislature to meet and pass laws. For a little less than a year, it was also the seat of America's federal government. During that time, George Washington resigned his position as General of America's army, the Treaty of Paris that ended America's Revolutionary War was ratified, and Thomas Jefferson was made America's ambassador to France to replace Benjamin Franklin.
The second photo is a scene on the grounds of Maryland Governor's House, the official residence of the state's governor. I would normally blur the flow of the water in a scene like this. Unfortunately, I didn't have a tripod with me at the time, so I had to settle for stopping the action of the water.
The third photo is an unidentified building very close to the two other properties.
