Re: This size
Love the idea Fernando but the almost total lack of detail in the child bothers me a little. I know this is deliberate so we are talking personal preference here.

Re: This size
I'm with John on this one as well.
You effectively have two subjects, the child and the birds near the top of the frame. As well you have an area of very bright water at the top right, and that pulls the viewer's eyes as well. The viewer has nothing to lock onto in this image and this tends to suggest the composition is not as strong as it should be.

Re: This size
The gesture of the child does seem to be implying some kind of size measurement. The minimilistic nature of the shot and the huge expanse of beach also show how small the child is in comparison to his/her environment. Then you have the birds in the background which in relation to the child and beach are also small in size. You also have the prints in the sand which denote size. This is a wonderful use of visual elements to show "This Size".
Of course this is only my personal interpretation, and it's obviously open to others.
You have a particular style, Fernando, and I like it.

It's a beautiful image, high standards and your own style.

Re: This size
I like the arrangement of space in this shot. I think you would usually have the main subject a bit closer to the bottom frame.

Re: This size
I like it a lot. You have quite an unusual style. Keep it up.

Re: This size
Looking at his other series on Page three in his link, I also concluded this is his style. Or else I would have critique this shot above very hard. j..k...it is a nice concept.

Re: This size
I like the minimalist style of the shot, but the composition just doesn't work for me.
