Merlin
Our big beautiful dog went to doggie heaven last week at the age of 10. We miss him.

Here he is with my daughter's little dog who loves to play rough.

Re: Merlin
Condolences for your loss. Losing them is tough. He was a good looking pooch.

Re: Merlin
Thanks for the good words. We got him as an adult and he was overweight, undisciplined and a real handful. Once we got some training on him and fed him better he turned into a very nice boy.

Re: Merlin
I feel for your loss! He was a beautiful guy. You gave him the kind of life that a dog should have and I am sure that he will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge...

Re: Merlin
Sorry Paul...when you lost a member of your family, it is hard to cope at first. Just remember the good times and it will be easier losing him. What a beautiful dog!

Re: Merlin
Thanks, everyone. We've lost dogs before but this has hit us harder than the ones in the past. My wife has a ring tone for me and I would call her when I was leaving work. Merlin would go right to the door whenever he heard it. Our other dog is doing a little better after losing her buddy.

Re: Merlin
Often dogs who have partnered up really grieve the loss of their partner. Another dog usually fills the gap for them...
