Hi Les,
If I have interpreted the EXIF correctly I think you shot these on a Canon 700D using a 90mm macro lens at ISO figures of 6400, 5000 and 3200 - this to achieve f/11 at 1/250s in ambient light.
The problem is that I think you are shooting jpg and the sharpening being applied in camera is 'freezing' excessive noise in to the images. If you shoot RAW, you would have the flexibility to noise reduce (the high ISO) before sharpening and that will produce a more pleasing result for many viewers.

UPDATE
Actually it was 6, bt you got in a right muddle with the IMG tags.
If you go to first post in thread, click Edit Post and see how I have separated them with new lines and numbers, this
a) helps us all critique them and
b) may help you get the tags correct in future.
When you've looked, just click Save Changes to come out (please don't change anything).

Thanks for the good advice Dave you are right with the EXIF i tried a smaller ISO but just keep getting a black image , i will try raw mode
