Sorry for making such a big fuss about it raining. It's just that we haven't had rain on a consistent basis for so long here in Southern California it's become a bit of an anomaly. We got up early to take our daughter to LAX for her return trip to Japan this morning and it was raining, along with some thunder and lightning thrown in, just for good measure. It's been raining off/on all day long and just started up again.

This image is noticeable from its symmetry elements; in that case intrusion of leaves of other plants into the frame is a disturbance, i feel. The rain drops make the image very charming

Rain is a very precious commodity in California. When I was living in San Diego, we used to take a shower every two days only as water is very expensive there... This is a nice shot, Alan. Good job capturing those drops.

Believe it or not, this is a crop of a much bigger exposure.
Next time I'll get out my macro lens and really go after those drops!
