Helpful Posts: Sitting in my family room the other day, I was just getting ready to eat dinner. Just after a brief shower had passed, I happened to look out the window and see this. This is about the brightest and most well defined rainbow I think I've ever seen. After being stationed in Pearl Harbor, HI for the Navy, I've seen plenty of rainbows, but, this one tops them all. I took a wider angle shot only seconds after this one but it was already fading at that point. The whole thing was gone in <5min.

Intense rainbows are always very pretty...especially down the beach. It's all about the angle of the atmosphere.
