Having had a few print exhibitions, I am now taking things to a new level with an interactive exhibition that I hope to take to a number of venues over the next few years. Did you / Do you take out insurance or not? What items and activities did you insure, what type of cover, which insurer did you use and how much did it cost?
Any and all experiences much appreciated!

I quit exhibiting as such several years back but I always carried insurance, especially since most of my shows were outdoors. Living in the SE USA says 6 months out of the year you are going to get severe lightning/thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds. Your rig blows into the rig next to you, you are liable for all damages. It can get very pricey. I would strongly suggest insurance both for what might happen to others, or just to your setup. My PPA insurance covers this and it's quite inexpensive.
