    A walk in the rain

I haven't posted much lately due to being tied up with other things and the weather being less than ideal. It is Oct 28 and we have had rain 27 of those days. I decided that if it kept up like this then even the ducks would need umbrellas. It was just a silly thought, but, I have attempted to turn my thought into a light hearted and fun image. Enjoy!

C&C is still appreciated even though this is just for the fun

Thanks for the morning laugh, Rita. I was reading your narration and laughed at what you implied not knowing you'd turn it like this. Your sense of humour can be as whacky as I thought...

It's a great concept, and perfectly rendered. I can't think of any other duck picture that would have worked here. Also love the fact that the duck looks like it's balancing on tippy-toes trying to avoid being blown backwards.

Thanks all. Glad it gave some smiles.

Izzie, yes, my humour can be wacky sometimes.

Simon, I did have another image that I tried but couldn't get it to work. It was a male and female mallard swimming, tried to put the umbrella so the male was being a gentleman and holding it for the female.

    Great picture Rita!

Send us some of that rain will you please?

I washed my wife's car this morning in hopes it would cause it to rain here.
    We need it.

    Thanks Alan.
I am willing to share our rain so I had a little chat with the clouds trying to get them to head south across the border. At last look they still weren't co-operating

Nice work, Rita. Maybe you could send it to your local tv station to present in their weather report

Thanks Greg. Hadn't thought of sending it to the TV, it will make some people smile if nothing else
