An interesting glimpse into 19thC China
Browsing the BBC website, I came across this set of images taken in the 19th Century by one of the first photographers to work there. It has some fascinating images of the lives, culture and technologies of the time.

I love to see photos like these. They are well done and the photographer did a great job considering the sophistication of photo equipment at that time.
That could be a great lesson to today's photographers. Perhaps is is a good idea to stick to shooting events and things that your equipment can handle...
