Bellmore Falls - the First Plunge

This is the typical tourist shot from the lookout a couple of hundred metres across the valley. (I don't know of any other viewing points, though.) It was an overcast day - in fact I drove through fog to get there - and there was a bit of light mist floating about. But I took the shot because I was able to capture people in it to give it a sense of scale. C&C welcome.

Oh, my! A tourist shot it may be, but I'll take it. Having the people in the shot makes it all the more impressive.

Good conversion, Greg...massive! I bet those two are taller than me, I wouldn't even be seen in that shot if I was there!

Excellent shot. Well composed and inclusion of the people works perfectly as intended. Nicely done.

Great conversion and detail! Must be viewed at the full size to be fully appreciated.

The people in your photo would beg to differ.

Consider removing the two floating pieces that can be seen only in the large version.

I wondered how they got down their, Mike, since I could see no pathway. A little research on the net and I found that you have to jump over the safety fence and trek a kilometre downhill to reach the bottom. And once there the rocks are very slippery - naturally. So, it might make a great photo but I don't think I will be heading down there.
