What the...? You'll have to explain what is going on with the bail, Grahame. At first I thought the guy had caught it and his thumb had suffered a blow (turned white). Then I wondered if the bail had been broken in two. Aside from that, good action shot. The guy who threw that ball probably deserves a place on our (currently pathetic ) team.
Really nice shot and great timing.
Dave
Couldn't have been better could it even if you supported the team in the field? Everything, including the wicket, is airborne. Great timing but you do need to clone out the orange cone. The guy in the slips must be feeling a bit uncomfortable.
Luck or experience, you captured a perfect moment.
Sergio
Perfect timing.
The full image tells a different story alright. I thought the initial post was a throw from the outfield. But now I see the batsman is clean bowled.
Good shot, Grahame! Clone that freaking orange cone, no matter which version you look at it looks awful!!!!
OK...still a follower and you know this.
I know -- You taught me how to operate my D300s and for that I will forever be grateful. I am now sorry to have given my D300s to my DIL. I am in the market for one if I can find one as good or one of those DX with 24 mgpx to swap that D300s with her instead as I am not sure I can find one as good as what I have there.Shot cricket with both the D800 and D300 this weekend, I'm still in love with the old D300
Great image, timing and a nice bit of bowling. Looks like all that exercise worked.
