PPS What's a Garibaldi? Is that a middle-class/ rich man's biscuit ? Ah'm from Lochee, we were poor, in fact, we were so poor that ah had no clothes 'til ah was 14, then ma mum bought me a hat so ah could look out the window...
Brown sauce on fish-n-chips? You monster!!!!!

Losing part of my rather splendid Garibaldi was traumatic enough but my wife who was there cheering on the Tibetans who's Monkfish II submarine wasn't doing so well lost half of her Fig Roll in a similar dunking incident when the Scots flashed their keels at them.

I had heard that one of the teams had cheated by using deep water, super fast submersibles. Frankly if this is true I would suggest that the competition has sunk to a new low...

There is a story that a family of sardines were watching a submarine go by. One of the hatchlings asked its mother, "what's that?" Mother replied, "it's our revenge... a lot of humans jammed into a tin can and covered in oil."

To many subs, spoils the view. Next time try somewhere a little quieter.

They can only be used when your front window fogs up and wiping it with the end of your tie stops being effective.

Is it compulsory to wear a tie at these events?
