Nicely captured.
Very nice capture & color.
Thanks John and Sam.
Very well composed, in my view, with the trees on the left and the slope of the hillside on the right not only being attractive in their own right as features in the scene, but provide the perfect frame through which we are encouraged to look away into the background.
I've got one of the White Mountains from my recent journey. Haven't got around to processing it yet, but will soon.
Beautiful
Beautiful warm colors in the foreground and a very pleasing composition that is framed so well that is almost a frame within a frame.
I'm guessing that you used a dehaze tool on the distant mountains. That's because of the strong blue color cast that at least Adobe's dehaze tool often produces. Regardless of whether I'm right about that, consider warming up that blue color cast a bit to see if you like the results.
I'm also curious as to which White Mountains Jim and Donald are referring to. My bet goes to Jim's White Mountains being in New Hampshire and Donald's White Mountains being in California and Nevada.
Lovely colours particularly in the foreground. You have managed to capture the colour on the trees and the bare trees well - so often the bare trees dominate and an image loses balance
Thanks Donald, Mike, Nandakumar and Kaye for the comments.
Mike I will give you edit suggestion a go, thanks.
Yes, this is the White Mountains in New Hampshire.
Jim's White Mountain is blue. I bet with Donald's one it will be white because he shoot them in Black and White...
Anyway, beautiful autumn shot, Jim.
Beautiful image and great colour.
